BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, October 24. The value of Kyrgyzstan's agricultural exports to Mongolia reached $445,800 from January through August, Trend reports.
The Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan reveals that processed vegetable and fruit products, which accounted for the largest portion, were exported at a value of $303,300. Following that, sugar and confectionery products made from sugar were exported at a value of $69,400.
Additionally, exports included cocoa and cocoa-based products at $38,500, fruits at $20,700, and vegetables at $6,000.
Kyrgyzstan's agricultural product exports to Mongolia amounted to $2.4 million in 2022.
The total agricultural trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia reached $624,900 from January through August.
According to the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan, exports to Mongolia from Kyrgyzstan amounted to $3.296 million from January through August 2023, which is a 2.6-time increase compared to the same months of the previous year.
During the period, Kyrgyzstan’s trade turnover with Mongolia reached $4.487 million, increasing 3.3 times per year.
