BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, February 22. Kyrgyzstan exported 5,265 tons of unprocessed lead to Türkiye in 2023, which is an increase of 69 percent compared to 2022 (3,113 tons), Trend reports.
Data from Kyrgyzstan’s State Statistical Committee shows that the value of these exports to Türkiye totaled $10.128 million, which is a 62-percent increase compared to 2022 ($6.250 million).
Last year, Türkiye emerged as the biggest consumer of
Kyrgyzstan's unprocessed lead.
In all, the country exported 5,292 tons of unprocessed lead during
the reporting year, up 45.7 percent from 3,633 tons in 2022. The
overall value of these exports was $10.174 million, up 47.6 percent
year on year ($6.894 million in 2022).
Kyrgyzstan's foreign trade turnover totaled $15.660 billion in
2023, a 29.9 percent increase over 2022 ($12.057 billion). The
country's exports totaled $3.308 billion, up 46.8 percent year on
year ($2.254 billion in 2022). Imports to Kyrgyzstan totaled
$12.352 billion, up 26 percent from $9.803 billion in 2022.
