Tajik President Emomali Rahmon and President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad issued a joint statement in Tajik capital of Dushanbe on Sunday, IRNA reported.
Iranian and Tajik energy ministers also signed a memorandum of understanding on reconstruction and completion of Tajikistan's Independence tunnel.
Meanwhile, industries ministries of Iran and Tajikistan signed another MoU.
President Ahmadinejad and President Rahmon met on Sunday prior to issuing a joint statement. High-ranking officials of both countries also held talks prior signing MoUs.
