Russian Deputy Defence Minister Anatoly Antonov will visit Tajikistan on Aug.9, CA-News reported on Tuesday.
Antonov will hold a number of meetings with Tajik defence officials.
The two countries are currently holding negotiations on prolonging the terms of presence of Russian 201st military base in Tajikistan.
The 201st base is one of the biggest Russian ground military units, which is located abroad.
