The presidential elections in Tajikistan will take place on November 6, Avesta.tj reported on Friday.
The decision was made on the joint session of Tajikistan's upper and lower chambers of the Parliament on Friday.
The proposal to hold the elections on November 6 was made by the lower chamber's speaker Shukurdjona Zukhurov and was supported by the majority of the deputies.
The elections will be held on the day of a public holiday - Constitution Day.
