The foreign ministers of Russia and Tajikistan Sergei Lavrov and Sirodzhiddin Aslov signed a protocol on status on exchange of ratification instruments of the agreement on status and terms on presence of Russian 201st military base in Tajikistan, Ria novosti reported.

The foreign ministers of Russia and Tajikistan Sergei Lavrov and Sirodzhiddin Aslov signed a protocol on status on exchange of ratification instruments of the agreement on status and terms on presence of Russian 201st military base in Tajikistan, Ria novosti reported.

The ceremony was held in Sochi after the meeting of Russian and Tajikistan Presidents Vladimir Putin and Emomali Rahmon.

This base is the largest Russian land forces unit, deployed abroad.
