BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 25. A new Cross-Border Trade Management Curriculum as part of the Ready4Trade Central Asia project, implemented by the International Trade Center (ITC) and funded by the EU, has been launched in Dushanbe on October 24, Trend reports citing ITC.

According to the ITC, the curriculum, which will be delivered both online and in person by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan, is expected to help Tajik businesses better prepare themselves to export their products regionally and internationally through practical training.

Tajikistan's business community can now enroll in free courses to improve their knowledge of international trade rules, export procedures, transit routes, quality and conformity standards, and specific EU market requirements.

"It will provide significant assistance in organizing the foreign economic activity of Tajik companies. We closely work with export-oriented companies and the current initiative will support our work to provide the companies with reliable and vital information on exporting products to foreign markets," Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan Jamshed Jumakhonzoda said.

He added that these courses teach the fundamentals of cross-border trade and export features to selected markets, which will allow Tajik entrepreneurs to improve their export skills.
