BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 6. China ranked first among exporters of clothing to Kyrgyzstan from January through November 2022, National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic informs, Trend reports via Kyrgyz media.
According to the committee, China has exported 11 million sets of clothes to Kyrgyzstan within the reporting period, which is an increase of 4.9 million (2 times), compared to 2021.
The second-ranked Uzbekistan, exported 5.5 million sets of clothes to Kyrgyzstan during this period, which is less than a year later (9.8 million).
Malaysia, ranking third among exporting countries, exported to Kyrgyzstan 3.7 million sets of clothes.
In total, 20.6 million sets of clothes were imported to Kyrgyzstan from January through November 2022, which is an increase of 14 percent, compared to the same period in 2021.
Tajikistan's foreign trade turnover amounted to more than $7.3 billion in 2022, increasing by 15 percent compared to 2021.
During the last year, value of Tajikistan’s imports reached $5.2 billion. Tajikistan mainly imported goods from Russia (30.7 percent of total imports), Kazakhstan (18.5 percent), and China (16.3 percent).
