Turkmenistan auctioned about 690,000 tons of finished commodities of two refineries in Turkmenbashi, Saydi and Nayip gas-processing complex at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.
The country put as stock trades 170,000 tons of motor gasoline, 230,000 tons of diesel fuel, 150,000 tons of fuel oil, 30,000 tons of aviation kerosene, 70,000 tons of liquefied gas, 30,000 tons of straight-run petrol, 10,000 tons of oil coke, and 5,000 tons of polypropylene.
Some 43 transactions were registered at the Turkmen State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
Companies from the UK, Germany, the Channel Islands, Russia, Turkey and the Bahama Islands bought base oil, polypropylene, low-sulfur fuel oil, hydrotreated diesel fuel, calcined petroleum coke. The total sum of the contracts on the exchange, including oil products exceeded $158 million.
The representatives from Azerbaijan, Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Denmark, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and other countries are the traditional participants of the auction.
The Commodity Exchange is a principal organ of state regulation of export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
