The Turkmenneft State Concern in 2015 brought oil production to 5.314,547 million tons, which is significantly more than the target figure, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reported.
The State Concern is focused on the successful implementation of the "Program of development of the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan until 2030."
In general, the concern implemented overhaul of 679 wells last year, and the energy sector of Turkmenistan received about 630,000 tons of additional oil, according to the newspaper.
Last year, the state concern commissioned 84 new wells on various oil and gas fields - "Goturdepe", "Barsagelmes", "Ordekli", "Altykuyi", "Uzynada" and others.
The maximum production among oil-producing departments of the State Concern was provided on the "Goturdepe" field - 2,168 million tons of oil.
Extraction of raw materials grows rapidly due to the introduction of innovative technologies, modern scientific research, the article of the newspaper said.
Nearly 30 new, more productive wells were commissioned last year on the "Goturdepe" field, while underground and capital repair works were held on dozens of old wells, and in the result, their daily production volumes increased significantly.
