The bill "On the state land cadastre" was unanimously adopted during the recent session of the Turkmen parliament.

The bill "On the state land cadastre" was unanimously adopted during the recent session of the Turkmen parliament, the Turkmen government said in a message.

This law establishes the legal, economic and organizational basis for the activity in this sphere.

The state land cadastre is a unified state geo-information system of documented information on the natural, economic and legal regime, categories, quantitative and qualitative characteristics and economic evaluation of lands, their location, as well as distribution of lands among landowners, land users and land tenants.

The data, systematized in the land cadastre, is of great economic importance and is widely used in solving issues related to the rational use of land resources.

The main principles of the state land cadastre are: the unity of the system of maintaining the state land cadastre in Turkmenistan, the full coverage of all lands in the country, the reliability of information of the state land cadastre on land plots for interested people, etc.

Agriculture is one of the key sectors of the national economy. The paramount importance is given to its dynamic development.

Big investments are made in the agro-industrial complex, which is intended to ensure the country’s economic prosperity and increase the welfare of the population.
