Serdar Gurbandurdiyev has been appointed as the deputy manager of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) from Turkmenistan.
He currently holds office as the deputy chairman of Turkmen State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs
Turkmenistan joined the ADB in 2000.
The ADB will allocate loans worth $950 million for Turkmenistan, according to the Country Operations Business Plan (COBP) 2018-2019.
The country partnership strategy supports the Government of Turkmenistan objective to diversify the economy.
