President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has signed a decree on pardon on the occasion of the National Holiday of Spring - Novruz Bayramy.
According to the decree, the pardoned citizens of the country are exempted from further serving the main punishment in the form of imprisonment, as well as from additional punishment in the form of imposing a duty of residence in a certain locality.
The document was signed guided by the principles of charity and humanism, in order to further strengthen the unity and cohesion of Turkmen society and each family.
