Ata Serdarov has been elected as chairman of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan, says the party’s message on the results of its extraordinary – 8th congress.
Delegates discussed the main directions of the party’s activities in the near future.
Currently, 57 party committees operate in the country, including five regional, 12 city and 45 district, as well as about 6,000 primary party organizations.
There are also two other political organizations in Turkmenistan – Agrarian Party and Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
