The Turkmenkabel Factory will annually produce up to 180,000 single-phase electronic meters, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reported.
Electronic devices will be assembled using the equipment of Turkish MAKEL Company.
The factory has more than 20 types of equipment. With the help of accurate measurements, errors resulting from such external influences as changes in voltage in the network, various temperature regimes – from -40 to +80 degrees, physical impact, as well as influence of noise, are detected.
"The factory staff has already prepared for implementation several tens of thousands of single-phase meters, which received a certificate of compliance with existing standards," the message says.
In the near future, electronic meters will replace electromechanical induction-type meters which are currently used in homes. They provide high accuracy measurements in accordance with international (IEC) and regional (GOST) standards.
