USAID selecting Turkmen business projects for co-financing

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Oct. 19

Trend:

The USAID Future Growth Initiative (FGI) project is selecting projects from organizations and associations of Turkmenistan for their further co-financing within a grant for Central Asian countries, Trend reports citing the ORIENT news agency.

USAID FGI will support leading business organizations to expand and regionalize entrepreneurial startups and e-commerce sites and expand opportunities for cross-country supply chains and business collaboration.

Companies operating in the following economic sectors are invited to participate in the selection: information and communication technology (ICT), food and processing industry, consumer goods manufacturing and domestic tourism, as well as companies providing business development services.

The winners will have the opportunity to implement their projects on terms of co-financing up to $50,000.

The deadline for submitting project concepts under the first selection round of the current round is November 1, 2021.
