Turkmenistan will take part in EXPO-2025 world exhibition, which is planned to be held on Yumeshima artificial island in Osaka, Japan under the motto "Designing Future Society for Our Lives", Trend reports citing the Business Turkmenistan information portal.
According to the information, during the regular online meeting of the Turkmen government, Deputy Prime Minister Chary Gylyjov informed President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov about the practical steps being taken to ensure a high level of the country's participation in the EXPO.
In particular, he submitted proposals for the establishment of an appropriate Organizing Committee and the appointment of a responsible representative of Turkmenistan to carry out the necessary preparatory work in conjunction with the Organizing Committee of EXPO-2025.
After listening to the report, president of Turkmenistan stressed that the participation of Turkmenistan in EXPO-2025 will open up broad prospects for demonstrating the country's export capabilities, building up mutually beneficial cooperation with all interested parties.
Focusing on the importance of achieving practical results in preparation for the EXPO, the president instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to keep under control the timely resolution of organizational issues and continue work in this direction.
Currently, Turkmenistan is taking part in the EXPO 2020 World Exhibition in Dubai. In early October, the president of Turkmenistan paid a working visit to Dubai, where he took part in the opening ceremony of the National Day of Turkmenistan as part of the world exhibition.
