An auction for the sale of state-owned facilities will be held in Turkmenistan, Trend reports with reference to the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.
Some 11 facilities of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan, the State Committee of Water Economy of Turkmenistan, the Turkmenawtoulaglary Agency (Agency rendering high-quality transportation services), the Turkmenhaly State Association (Turkmen Carpet Association), the Turkmenhimiya State Concern (the State Concern representing Turkmenistan’s chemical industry), the administrations of Dasoguz, Lebap and Mary regions have been put up for sale.
Citizens of Turkmenistan and foreign countries, private legal entities of Turkmenistan and other countries who have submitted the applications and passed registration in accordance with the established procedure can take part in the auction after making a deposit and a special fee.
Foreign legal entities and international organizations, as well as their permanent representative offices and branches in Turkmenistan, can buy state property only if they have a conclusion from the Agency for Protection from Economic Risks under the Turkmen Ministry of Finance and Economy.
The applications for participation in the auction are accepted from the moment of publishing the announcement and no later than 24 hours before beginning of the auction. The registration of participants will be unveiled on the day of the auction from 09:00 (GMT +5).
