BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 2. A videoconference meeting was held between the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan and the Azerbaijan State Customs Committee, Trend reports citing Orient news.
The main topic of the meeting was familiarization with the practice of using electronic customs technologies in seaports, as well as the introduction of the Single Window mechanism. Information about the Green Corridor project was also provided.
The conference took place within the framework of the agreement between the customs authorities of the two countries on cooperation and mutual assistance.
Furthermore, Turkmenistan sets goals to accelerate customs clearance at the border, develop the transit and logistics system of the country, as well as create conditions for the rapid movement of goods through customs.
