BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 19. The delegation of Turkmenistan headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Vepa Hadjiev held a series of talks with representatives of international organizations during a visit to the Belgian capital Brussels, Trend reports citing the Turkmenistan Golden Age online newspaper.

During the negotiations with the Secretary General of the World Customs Organization Kunio Mikuriya, issues of the development of Turkmenistan's cooperation with this structure were discussed.

Within the framework of the dialogue with the Secretary General of the Energy Charter Secretariat Guy Lentz, cooperation in the issues of international transit of energy resources and expansion of partnership in the field of energy efficiency were discussed.

At the meeting with Michael Siebert, Managing Director for Russia, Eastern Partnership, Central Asia, Regional Cooperation and OSCE of the European External Relations Service, a wide range of issues related to the development of cooperation between the Turkmen capital Ashgabat and Brussels were discussed.

It was about preparations for the next meeting of the High–level Dialogue "EU - Central Asia" on politics and security. Special attention was paid to the development of partnerships in the fields of energy, transport, environmental protection, education and culture.
