BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 27. The delegation of Turkmenistan took part in the second preparatory meeting of the Economic and Environmental Forum of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), held in the Polish city of Lodz, Trend reports citing the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the representative of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport noted the importance of transport development and trade facilitation, as well as energy security as priorities of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the OSCE.
In particular, he stressed that the Turkmenbashi International Seaport plays an important role as a promising transport hub on the Caspian Sea, located at the intersection of many trade routes.
In this context, it was noted that Turkmenistan is actively cooperating with the OSCE in the development of "green" ports and transport links.
The meeting participants were also informed about Turkmenistan's priorities in the field of energy security, sustainable transport system and water resources management.
