BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 3. Lebapgazchygarysh repair department of the Turkmenistan's Turkmengaz State Concern restored the operation of 14 gas wells from January through May 2022, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
Most of the repair work was carried out at the Kerpichli and Malay gas fields.
Last year, the Lebapgazchygarysh department of the Turkmengaz State Concern increased natural gas production by 44 percent compared to 2020.
Currently, the department's specialists continue to carry out work aimed at restoring inactive gas wells and industrial development of new wells.
Meanwhile, 83.77 billion cubic meters of natural gas were produced in Turkmenistan last year, which is the highest figure in the last 30 years.
