BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 16. Turkmenistan has announced the growth rates of production from January through June 2022, Trend reports with reference to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
In the reporting period, according to the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan, the growth rate of production reached 105.6 percent compared to the same period last year.
According to the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, from January through June 2022, the growth rate of agricultural and food manufacturing reached 167.9 percent, and industrial production – by 110.1 percent compared to the same period last year.
Due to the increasing dynamics of the construction of industrial and social facilities in Turkmenistan, industry is becoming one of the major sectors of the economy.
