BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 27. The Turkmenabat cotton spinning factory located in the Lebap region in the east of Turkmenistan increased the production of cotton yarn from January through August 2022, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
During the specified period, the factory manufactured cotton yarn in the amount of 39.8 million Turkmen manats ($11.3 million), exceeding the production plan by 39.5 percent.
The plan provides for the manufacturing of products worth 28.5 million Turkmen manats ($8.1 million). The rate of production growth compared to the first 8 months of last year was about 120 percent.
Cotton yarn produced at the enterprise is exported to Russia, Iran and Kyrgyzstan.
Turkmenistan invests heavily in the formation of modern industrial infrastructure, which contributes both to the comprehensive development of the regions and to the economic prosperity of the country as a whole.
