BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 14. The volume of the state budget approved in Turkmenistan for 2023 has been published, Trend reports with reference to the Business Turkmenistan website.
According to the information, the approved state budget of Turkmenistan for 2023 in terms of revenues and expenditures amounted to about 95 billion Turkmen manats ($27.36 billion), which is 11.1 percent higher than the approved state budget plan for 2022.
Revenues and expenditures of the first level of the state budget amount to 29.1 billion Turkmen manats ($8.38 billion), and about 75 percent of the expenditures are planned to be allocated to finance the social system.
At the same time, revenues and expenditures of the second level of the state budget are planned in the amount of 65.9 billion Turkmen manats ($18.98 billion), which is 10.3 percent higher than the approved plan for 2022.
Meanwhile, it is expected that in 2023 the GDP growth rate in Turkmenistan will reach 6.5 percent in relative terms.
