BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 25. Turkmenistan plans to sow 12,600 hectares of land in Turkmengala district of the Mary region of the country with cotton this year, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
This season it is planned to harvest more than 27,900 tons of cotton from the sown areas of this district.
In general, it is planned to sow 162,000 hectares of land in the Mary region this year, from which 359,000 tons of cotton are expected to be harvested.
At the moment, the specialists of the district maintenance enterprise are organizing the repair of equipment, as well as conducting a technical inspection of tractors, to which the necessary equipment will be attached at this time.
