BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 30. Turkmenistan and Tajikistan to discuss prospects for cooperation between the two countries in various fields, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
The discussion of these issues will take place during the meeting of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov during his official visit to Tajikistan on April 10 through 11, 2023.
On the eve of Serdar Berdimuhamedov's visit, Dushanbe (Tajikistan) will host the first meeting of the Business Council of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, as well as a business forum of entrepreneurs of the two countries, the date of which is scheduled for April 8 and 9, respectively.
A delegation of 100 representatives will come from Turkmenistan to Dushanbe to participate in them, about 70 of them are entrepreneurs from various regions. Tajikistan will be represented at the forum by over 200 local businessmen.
Within the framework of the meeting of the Business Council, the prospects of cooperation between the two countries in the field of business, the search for new partners will be discussed, and further expansion of economic and business relations and contacts between entrepreneurs and investors of the two countries will take place.
