ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, July 11. The Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan has revealed plans to hold an auction for the privatization of 45 state-owned assets, Trend reports.
The auction will be held on July 28 via digital auction site of state property. Service sector facilities, including shops, cafes, canteens and a wellness center, administrative buildings, a carpet factory, and production facilities will be put up for auction.
Among the largest objects put up for auction are the building of the former Amudarya trading enterprise and a two-story building in the Lebap region, the Dowrebap shopping and entertainment center (8,800 square meters) in the same region, a pipe plant in the Dashoguz region (6,400 square meters) and the administrative building of the Nur Zaman enterprise in Ashgabat city (4,300 square meters).
The auction will be conducted online via the digital auction site of state property and also via the mobile application associated with this platform.
Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan in early July 2023 also put up for sale 46 objects of state property.
