ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, August 3. The composition of the joint intergovernmental panel between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan to determine the state border between the two countries has been approved, Trend reports.
The relevant edict was reportedly signed by Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the president of Turkmenistan, according to the official source.
The agreement was struck in order to discuss problems pertaining to the line of passage and immediate delineation of the state border between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
The construction of a trade center in the Dashoguz region, which is located in the Turkmen-Uzbek border zone, will begin in July 2023 in accordance with a decree signed by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on July 21 of this year. The facility will be operational in July 2025.
