ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 22. Turkmenistan sells a large volume of fuel, oil, and textiles on its commodity exchange to foreign entrepreneurs, Trend reports.
According to the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, businessmen from the UAE purchased low-sulfur fuel oil from the Turkmennebit State Concern for a total of $38.06 million and flannel fabric from a Turkmenistan's enterprise for a total of $155,250 through the exchange.
At the same time, entrepreneurs from Kyrgyzstan concluded a deal on the exchange for the purchase of smooth-dyed and jacquard products from the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan and a local enterprise for a total amount of $808,449.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation for export-import operations.
