ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, October 12. Turkmenistan sold textile products worth more than $19.29 million to foreign businessmen in September this year through the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange, Trend reports.
In general, there is an increase in sales of textile products on the commodity exchange in September, exceeding 10 percent compared to previous months.
Furthermore, in September of this year, Turkmenistan sold over $199.23 million worth of goods on its commodity exchange.
Turkmenistan plans to allocate more than $300 million for the implementation of over 30 projects in the textile industry by 2025.
Major investments will be directed not only to expanding existing capacities, but also to creating more than 10 new production facilities based on current enterprises.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
