ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, October 19. The trade turnover between Turkmenistan and France reached over 46.14 million euros during the period from January through July 2023, Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, told Trend.
These numbers demonstrate a growth of 2.8-fold compared to the revenue in the initial seven months of the prior year, which totaled 16.16 million euros.
Turkmenistan's exports to France from January through July 2023 amounted to almost 5.73 million euros, which is 66.1 percent more than in the same months of 2022, when it amounted to 3.45 million euros.
At the same time, Turkmenistan increased its imports from France 3.1 times in the first seven months of 2023 compared to the same period of 2022 (12.71 million euros), resulting in imports amounting to 40.41 million euros.
Meanwhile, the trade turnover between Turkmenistan and France in 2022 amounted to 40.67 million euros, which is 6.75 percent more than in 2021 (38.1 million euros).
