ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, February 23. Turkmenistan has sold a large batch of polypropylene to entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan and the UAE on its State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange, Trend reports.
According to the exchange, entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan and the UAE have concluded a deal to purchase polypropylene of the TPP D 382 BF brand for a total of over $9.62 million.
All the polypropylene sold was produced at the enterprises of Turkmenistan's Turkmennebit State Concern.
Furthermore, business representatives from Kyrgyzstan signed a deal with a Turkmenistan's company for the purchase of cotton yarn for a total of over $136,600.
Turkmenistan ranks among the world's leading countries in terms of oil and gas reserves. The country pays great attention to the construction of oil and gas processing plants as well as the export of products to world markets.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation for export-import operations.
