ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, April 8. Turkmenistan's construction sector is improving its performance by exceeding the production plan from January through March this year, Trend reports.
According to the official source, this was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Government of Turkmenistan Baymyrat Annamamedov at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
"The plan for production and implementation of works in the construction and industrial sectors for the first quarter of this year has been fulfilled at a level of 21.8 percent," he said.
The Deputy Chairman noted that during the reporting period, the Ministry of Construction and Architecture exceeded the plan by 7.3 percent and the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production by 2.7 percent.
Meanwhile, the construction sector of Turkmenistan has been undergoing significant development in recent years, thanks to active state support for infrastructure projects and attracting foreign investment.
The country is actively implementing innovative technologies in construction, improving the quality of housing stock, and developing urban and transport infrastructure, which contributes to improving the living standards of the population and the attractiveness of the country for investors.
