( Irna ) - President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad officially welcomed Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdymuhammedov here on Friday afternoon in the Presidential Office compound.
A high ranking delegation accompany the Turkmenistan president which include ministers of foreign affairs, transportation, agriculture, water, energy and industry and deputy chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The first round of negotiation between the two presidents will start soon after welcoming ceremony.
President Berdymuhammedov is to discuss issues with Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki on Friday evening, too.
Turkmenistan president is scheduled to pay homage and lay a wreath on late Imam Khomeini mausoleum and will be received by the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Saturday.
