South Korean Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF) plans to allocate loans totaling $155 million to the Uzbek government to implement projects to support economic and social development in 2011-2012, the country's the Finance Ministry told Prime Agency on Wednesday.
The ministry's official said the allocation of the loans will be discussed during the Korean President Lee Myung-Bak's state visit to Uzbekistan on Aug. 23-24.
