The State Railway Company "Uzbekistan Railways" will receive the second Spanish high speed electric train AVE 250 in mid-December 2011, the company's management told Trend on Saturday.
The Spanish Patentes Talgo S. A. and Uzbekistan Railways signed a contract to purchase two high-speed trains AVE 250, worth 38 million euros in November 2009.
The project is financed by Uzbekistan Railways' own funds to the amount of 19 million euro and the Uzbek Reconstruction and Development Fund's loan for the same amount.
