Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan continue to work on border delimitation

A regular meeting of the governmental delegations of Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic on delimitation and demarcation of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz state border was held in Fergana city (Uzbekistan) from June 26 to 30, 2012, Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan said.

A regular meeting of the governmental delegations of Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic on delimitation and demarcation of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz state border was held in Fergana city (Uzbekistan) from June 26 to 30, 2012, Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan said.

During the meeting the sides discussed issues related to Uzbek-Kyrgyz state border.

"The event was held in a constructive and benevolent atmosphere," the ministry said.

As it was reported, the total length of the border between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan is 1,375 kilometers, about 300 kilometers of which is under discussion.
