A new deputy foreign minister appointed by the presidential decree was introduced at the Uzbek Foreign Ministry on Tuesday.

According to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, Javlon Vakhabov was appointed deputy foreign minister. Earlier, Vakhabov served as director of the Institute for Strategic and Inter-Regional Research under the President of the Republic.

It was previously reported that Eldor Aripov was dismissed from this post in mid-October.

At present, there are four positions of deputy foreign ministers at the Foreign Ministry of the Republic.
