The residents of Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, felt small tremors August 10 at 15:05 local time (UTC/GMT +5 hours).
The strength of the tremors in the city was two points, said the Tashkent Seismological Station.
The quake's epicenter was in the territory of Afghanistan, some 520 kilometers away from Tashkent.
The magnitude of the earthquake in the epicenter was six points.
