Uzbekistan's Cabinet of Ministers has signed an order to approve the list of draft laws to be worked out and submitted to the parliament.

The government intends to work out 17 draft laws in accordance with the order "On approval of the program to work out draft laws and submit them to the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis (parliament) in 2016".

The list includes the draft laws "On state youth policy" in a new edition, "On international treaties of the Republic of Uzbekistan", "On Diplomatic Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan" and "On approval of the Consular Statute of the Republic of Uzbekistan" in the new edition.

The government will also work out the draft law "On Cinematography" and "On Plant Quarantine" in a new edition and submit them to the parliament.

Moreover, some of the draft laws envisage amendments to the current laws.

It is planned to make amendments to the laws "On quality and safety of food products", "On guardianship and custody", "On Railway Transport", "On licensing procedures in entrepreneurship", "On licensing of certain activities", "On operational and search activities".
