For eight months Almalyk mining and metallurgical plant in Uzbekistan over fulfilled plan for the export of rhenium by 393.3 percent, tellurium - by 76.7 percent, selenium - by 220 percent, Trend reports with reference to UzDaily.uz news agency.
During the period from January to August, 60,215 tons of cathode copper was supplied to China and Turkey. The plan was fulfilled by 15.2 percent.
Some 2,828 tons of copper pipes were exported to Turkey, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine, the plan was fulfilled by 35.3 percent.
The plan for the export of sulfuric acid, which is widely used in the chemical industry, was fulfilled by 10.9 percent. In particular, 27,716 tons of sulfuric acid was exported to Kazakh partners over the past period.
Good results have also been achieved in the export of copper sulfate, which is widely used in agriculture. Some 5399 tons of copper sulfate was supplied to Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Indonesia, the plan was fulfilled by 53.8 percent.
The plan for the export of molybdenum, which is used for alloying steels as a component of heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloys, was fulfilled by 7.4 percent. The main importer of this metal is the Netherlands, where 430 tons of molybdenum was delivered from January to August.
