ТСТ Rice cluster in Kuyichirchik district of Uzbekistan's Tashkent region next year plans to increase the export of rice to up to $500,000, Trend reports with reference to the press service of the president of Uzbekistan.

It is reported that President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the activities of the rice processing plant built by the ТСТ Сluster in the Kuyichirchik district of the Tashkent region.

The ТСТ Rice Сluster has a complete production chain for growing and deep processing of rice. Last year, an area of more than 2,600 hectares was sown with Lazurny, Iskandar, Mustakillik and Nukus rice varieties.

Thanks to a project worth more than 27 billion soums ($2.6 million), a modern complex has been built on an area of six hectares, which includes a threshing floor, two closed warehouses with a total capacity of 15,000 tons, rice cleaning and drying workshop and a processing workshop.

It is noted that the rice cleaning and drying workshop is equipped with four lines. Each of them can dry 120 tons of rice per shift.

Also, the rice processing plant uses equipment from Turkish Yashar Makina, which is used in the production of premium rice products. The smart technique sorts the rice not only by size, but also by color.

Currently, the plant has a processing capacity of 40,000 tons per year. After the launch of the second stage, the plant's capacity will double.
