BAKU, Azerbaijan, Apr. 8

Trend:

Uzbekistan’s Bukhara oil refinery has suspended the work for ten days since April 5, Trend reports referring to Uzbekneftegaz national holding company.

The Russian Himmontazhnaladka company was involved in the work. It is responsible for cleaning the chimneys.

"Moreover, during this period, the catalyst of the old type will be replaced by the catalyst of the new type HR-608 produced by the French Axens company at the technological unit" Purification of total naphtha by using hydrogen," the message said.

The stocks of oil products were created during the repair for consumers not to have a shortage of them.

The Bukhara oil refinery produced 843,900 tons of gasoline in 2020. This is the highest figure during the 23-year history of the refinery.

The Bukhara refinery launched the production of diesel fuel that meets the "Euro-4" and "Euro-5" environmental standards on March 30, 2020 for the first time in the history of Uzbekistan.
