The State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan will introduce three digital services for more convenient and efficient fulfillment of the requirements of tax legislation, Trend reports with reference to the press service of the committee.
According to the committee, these single digital services include an electronic catalog of products (goods and services), a single information portal of electronic agreements, as well as an online system for issuing electronic powers of attorney.
It is noted that all three will provide a systematic and consistent exchange of electronic data between companies, will automate primary documentation in the accounting department, and radically reduce the tax burden on taxpayers.
The services will be integrated with the electronic document management system and the portal of interactive government services. Uniform names and identification codes will be merged with the online checkout system.
The committee said that full implementation of the services will make tax administration efficient and convenient for the taxpayer.
It is reported that the catalog will contain more than 900 items, including serial numbers, groups of goods and services, classification codes, and units of measurement.
Electronic registration of agreements will be carried out in real-time with the assignment of a special QR code. On its basis, electronic invoices are generated. At the same time, registration is voluntary and services are provided free of charge.
When issuing power of attorney electronically to receive inventory items in the electronic document management system, it will be necessary to provide an electronic digital signature.
The powers of attorney will also be assigned QR codes and ID numbers, allowing them to quickly check their accuracy in the system of electronic invoices and ‘read’ the necessary information, which will significantly reduce the cost of doing business.
