Uzbekistan considers Austrian experience in output of export-oriented agricultural products

Uzbekistan is considering the Austrian experience in the production of export-oriented agricultural products, Trend with reference to Uzbek media.

According to the information, Ambassador of Uzbekistan in Austria Abat Faizullaev held a meeting with the representatives of Austrian Agricultural Cluster (AAC) and Austrian BERTSCH laska company, during which issues of applying advanced Austrian experience and innovative technologies in the agro-industrial industry of Uzbekistan were discussed.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed the possibilities for exporting goods of domestic entrepreneurs to Austria, taking into account the foundation of the Uzbekistan status of the Beneficiary Country of the Special System of the European Union for Sustainable Development and Effective Management (GSP+), which allows exporting 6,200 species domestic products to the EU market.

Also, the parties discussed the issues of establishing joint training centers, as well as technical schools on the preparation of professional agronomists in the regions of Uzbekistan with the involvement of Austrian specialists, teachers and innovative teaching methods.

In addition, the Austrian side expressed interest in organizing Train-the-Trainer program for specialists from Uzbekistan in Agrarian educational institutions of Austria in such directions such as livestock and processing of milk and meat.

Also, cooperation priorities were considered in the framework of innovative projects - "from Farm To Fork", which include all the stages of the production cycle - from the creation of farms before the delivery of finished products to the final consumer.
