From November 1, 2021, Uzbekiston Temir Yullari joint stock company will provide a 25-percent discount on the transportation of raw materials imported from abroad to Uzbekistan by rail,Trend reports citing the press service of Uzbekiston Temir Yullari.
The list of products imported at a discount includes 114 types of raw materials used in the chemical, food and industrial sectors. Among them are buckwheat, cocoa beans, chlorides, cyanides, various dyes, antioxidants and others.
The decision of providing the discount became possible after the meeting of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev with local entrepreneurs on August 2021. After the meeting, the President instructed the Ministry of Transport, together with the Ministry of Finance and the Antimonopoly Committee, to revise railway tariffs.
