Cars from 22 countries were imported to Uzbekistan, from January through September 2021, Trend reports citing the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.
Total volume of the imported cars amounted to $390.2 million. About 18,150 cars were purchased during nine months of 2021.
The leaders of the countries from which Uzbekistan imported cars are China (4,981),South Korea (4,644) and Russia (3,386).
The remaining purchasing countries were: Kazakhstan – 2, 789; Poland - 997; the US - 427; Lithuania - 427; Thailand - 250; Germany - 93; Japan - 72; Turkey - 25.
From January through September 2021, the import of cars decreased by 2,331, compared to the same period last year.
