The Russian “Transmashholding” JSC and the Uzbek “Tashkent metro” company signed a memorandum of cooperation within the framework of the concept for the development of the capital's subway, Trend reports via the press-service of the JSC.
The memorandum will be valid from 2022 through 2032.The parties intend to cooperate in the development of underground infrastructure, renewal of rolling stock and passenger traffic of Tashkent’s subway.
The memorandum provides for assistance in introducing a system for the provision of trade and advertising services on the territory of the subway, creating a logistics center for the integration of suburban, urban public transport.
The Metrowagonmash competence center of Transmashholding in the field of metro carriage manufacturing has been cooperating with the Tashkent Metro since its opening in 1977.
