South Korean KOICA International Cooperation Agency will allocate a grant to Uzbekistan in the amount of $4.5 million for implementation of the project "Formation of the foundations of stable development and increasing the potential of IT Park of the Republic of Uzbekistan", Trend reports via the Uzbek Ministry for the development of information technologies and communication.
This issue was discussed at the meeting of Uzbek Minister Sherzod Shermatov with the Deputy President of the Korean Agency Im Jong Hee.
During the meeting, the parties thoroughly considered possible ways to expand bilateral cooperation in the field of ICT, including:
- implementation of new projects to support startups;
- further development of cooperation with Korean technology parks on the development of the startup ecosystem and the ICT sector by improving incubation and acceleration programs.
